On October 4th (a very cold night in Indiana!), we held our first official event at the Treefort property and had a great time! Andrew Draper gave us live music on the keyboard for the evening, Pete's Duck Inn provided us with delicious down home food, and the silent auction found people going home with Notre Dame Football Tickets, Handmade stained glass, Big Ten autographed basketballs, a photo session with Crabtree Photography, a 7-day vacation and so much more! In spite of the cold, we had a great turnout and were able to begin the process of raising awareness about the work of Treefort and the funds to build our first house. Thank you to all who came for making Treefort's first Backyard BBQ a great night!
